Spicy Chicken Pasta

This Spicy chicken Pasta is quite easy to prepare. And its ideal for us Indians due to its spiciness!

Ingredients
250 gram pasta (preferably Fusilli or Tagliatelle, I used Fusilli)
250 gram chicken (julienned)
1 large onion (diced)
2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
2 red bell peppers (julienned)
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
400 gram tomatoes (chopped)
2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Juice of half a lemon
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
250 gram cheddar cheese (grated)
2 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

How To
Heat the olive oil in a deep bottomed pan and add the onions, garlic, bell peppers and chilli powder. Saute until the onions become soft and pale in colour. Add the chicken pieces along with a pinch of salt and pepper and fry on medium heat. Before the chicken starts to brown, add the tomatoes, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Combine well and allow the sauce to boil. Reduce the flame to minimum, cover the pan and allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the directions on the cover and drain.

Once the sauce has reduced, remove the pan from the heat. Add the grated cheese and stir so that the cheese melts into the sauce. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and combine well. Serve hot.
